Pizza, Cupcakes and Party Food

Space inside Island Studio is limited, so all food plans must be discussed before the party is confirmed.

We generally recommend that children paint before eating pizza or other greasy foods. Clean hands help keep oil and food residue away from the unfinished pottery.

Depending on the season and weather, families may be able to use the outdoor picnic-table area for pizza, cupcakes or cake. We can help you plan a comfortable party schedule.

A typical party may follow this format:

1. Guests arrive and get settled.
2. Children choose or receive their pottery.
3. Island Studio explains the paints and process.
4. Children paint their pottery.
5. The painting portion concludes after approximately one hour.
